My sister, brother-in-law, and their 5 kids from Ohio are staying with us for the week, and my kids are loving the time with their cousins. I love that they come and stay because they have time to get to know each other again, and I get to catch-up with my sister. To know someone takes time. Relationships are work. Taking the time to read my Bible helps me know God. My God...my Savior. Psalm 114:3-8 says, "The Red Sea saw them coming and hurried out of their way! The water of the Jordan River turned away. The mountains skipped like rams, the little hills like lambs! What's wrong, Red Sea, that made you hurry out of their way? What happened, Jordan River, that you turned away? Why mountains, did you skip like rams? Why, little hills, like lambs? Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord at the presence of the God of Israel. He turned the rock into pools of water, yes, springs of water came from solid rock." God is powerful. He can move mountains and the sea. My Savior is powerful, and I can feel safe and secure in Him. What are you learning about God?
