Old...

Those who live past the age of 80 and are loving life are such amazing people. There are some who go to our church, and I love to see them and hear their stories! The aged who are faithful to God are worth stopping and observing. I want to introduce you to one of my favorites. He followed God wholeheartedly, and he waited for God's promise of land for 45 years. The land needed work, and it was more than clearing the land and pruning the trees. The land was full of giants (really!). So Caleb, my favorite, said "Today I am eighty-five years old. I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then." I love this verse! Caleb probably wasn't  as strong, but he wasn't ready to stop or take it easy. He was ready to make a difference. Do you have plans that you'll be working on at 85? Any long term dreams? Takeaways...1. Stay faithful. 2. Keep dreaming...because blessings will come.
