There are times when my children look at me like I am speaking a foreign language. They don't always understand why I am saying no, or why they need to accomplish a certain task. I had a teachable moment when I was handing out vitamins several years ago.  Caden was about three, and he wanted two vitamins (two is better than one!). He cried and threw a fit because he wanted more vitamins. The other kids thought he was being ridiculous, but I reminded them that they all have times when they don't understand why they are told no.  I still struggle with God's plans because sometimes I can't see God's big design. In Joshua 6 the Israelites are told to walk around the city of Jericho every day for 7 days. Then on the 7th day they walked around the city 7 times. This was the plan for a victorious battle. Why did God give these strange plans? God doesn't tell us why, but the strange plan did bring victory. The Bible is full of strange your enemy, forgive, marriage for life, tithing, etc. What strange plan is a struggle for you right now? Know God's plans are perfect.
