I love children...that's why I have six! I truly enjoy them. Yesterday I told Cambree, who will soon be 4, that she is getting too big, and she said, "that's ok mommy, I will love you when I'm big." Kids say funny things, do crazy things, and rarely stop. They are work and do cause me to battle worry, but I still love being their mom. I wish they would stop growing-up, but that's a losing battle. Everyone must mature and grow-up. As believers we are called children of God, but we are told we can't be like children forever. God wants us to be firm in what we believe and not easily swayed. He also commands us to be growing...changing to be more like Christ. As we mature in Christ, we can do our "own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."(Ephesians 4:14-16)  January is a great time for us to evaluate and make a plan to keep growing.
