Power...

Nine days until Christmas...how are you doing on all your lists? Are the events piling up? I have a pretty long list that I hope to accomplish this week, but it may not all be completed. December would be a great time to have superhero powers...maybe speed. Caden, my eight year old, was writing about superheros this week so I was admiring their characteristics. I don't have super strength, and I can't leap tall buildings or fly. But many times I forget to consider what God has given me. Ephesians 3:20-21 say, "Now glory be to God! By his mighty power at work within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. May he be given glory in the church and in Christ Jesus forever and ever through endless ages. Amen." These verses aren't promising superpowers, but power that is far beyond Iron man lives in us. God can accomplish more than we would ever dare to ask or hope by his power at work in us. What do you want God to do through you? Just ask...
