So much happens in life. There are good days and bad days. Busy days and long days. Happy days and sad days. Days of birth and days of death. Days of accomplishment and days of frustration. Sunny days and rainy days. School days and vacation days. In all these days we throw around the phrase...praying for you. We say it; we text it. So how should we pray for others? Romans 15:13 says, "So I pray that God, who gives you hope, will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in him. May you overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit." Reading these words is encouraging and hopeful. We can simply repeat these words back to God as we pray for someone. Or we can pray asking God to keep someone happy in their work, marriage, family, and circumstances. Specially pray for peace in decisions, peace as they interact in relationships, and peace during sleep. Lastly, pray that hope will overflow in daily life and in discouraging situations. Hope can change the outlook on life...hope brings us joy.
