Friday evening we returned from our two week vacation of touring the Midwest. We weren't touring sights, but we were stopping to see family as we traveled through Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. It was great to be reconnected with family. I loved getting to know my nieces and nephews a little better. The last half of our vacation we went to a rustic cottage on Lake Tippecanoe. We've been going there with my parents, my siblings, and their families for 16 years so we have many wonderful memories there. The cottages are very small, and we are normally only in the cottages to sleep or prepare food. Our cottage has a huge porch on it though, and in the mornings I love to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee (from my husband). From the porch I can sit and enjoy the sun shinning on the beautiful lake. Now I say all that because one of the mornings I read this verse. "I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people."

As I sat there enjoying the sun on the lake, I could begin to visualize the "light" that is talked about in this verse. I need that light so I understand and have peace in the wonderful future God has for me. I prayed this verse for a few people in my life that morning that need to see the "light". Who in your life do you need to share this verse with this week?
