I really enjoyed "Love Days" this past Saturday. I love that we try to help and encourage people. There are such a variety of people that are touched by "Love Days". This weekend I was at Brinton Nursing Home. We handed out some roses, sang, and played a few games. I talked to a few ladies. One lady asked me 5 times in a row what we were doing, and each time she smiled and said thank-you. I was reminded that everyone is important to God. All are loved by Him.
"My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in shabby clothes also comes in. If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, 'Here's a good seat for you,' but say to the poor man, 'You stand there' or 'Sit on the floor by my feet,' have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?" (James 2:1,2) Everyone is important! Showing love and respect to whoever needs it is what God wants for all of us.
Show some love this week!
