Do you ever think you are all alone? Am I the only one who struggles to make friends? Am I the only one who struggles to get along with my family? Am I the only one who hides what I really feel? Am I the only one who tells the truth?

Psalm 12 says, "Help, Lord, for the godly are no more; the faithful have vanished from among men. Everyone lies to his neighbor; their flattering lips speak with deception." How lonely! How sad. We've all probably felt the way David did. So if even David felt lonely, what can we do?

There are times when we stand, and we end up standing alone. There are times though that we wouldn't feel so lonely if we were better connected. We can live surrounded by people, and yet feel lonely. Why?

Take time to open up and share your life and your heart with someone you trust. It's so important to do this regularly. If you don't have anyone to share your heart with, put it on the top of your "to do" list. We need each other!
