I hope you had a wonderful Easter celebration. We had a great day with family and friends. Each year (after Easter) I wonder why...Easter grass. That crazy stuff ends up everywhere.

Easter services were amazing...many people asked Christ to be their leader and forgiver. What a memorable Easter for those who trusted Christ.

Today we come to the end of the book of Acts. Paul makes it to Rome which is the center of trade and government at this time, and the gospel just continues to spread. For the last several chapters the focus is on Paul, and then the last two verses of Acts come. Acts 28:30,31 says, "For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ." And...I feel like I've been left hanging. What about the trial? Who did he talk to about Christ? What's the rest of Paul's story? The traditions say some about Paul, but I think God took the focus off Paul. Our stories aren't all about us, but rather all about what God is doing with us. God used many ordinary people in Acts, and He does the same today. Let's thank Him this week for the many who trusted Christ. God is doing an amazing work through Fellowship.
